Stinckens & Smits (2012). Inspired by the post-session questionnaire by Vanaerschot (1997) and Helpful Aspects of Therapy (Llewelyn, 1988).

Goal

Asks about helpful, disruptive, and missing events in the past session. Questions the therapeutic offer, the hope for change and drop-out risk

Scales

Helping processes: involvement, support, appreciation & confirmation; confrontation, feedback & advice; empathy & understanding; insights & new perspectives; research & exploration; openness & authenticity; positive feelings & experience of progress; relationship with care provider. Scale that gauges hope & expectation.

Scores

Items are assessed using a visual analogue scale (0-10).

In this questionnaire we ask you to reflect on what you experienced as helpful or disruptive during the last therapy session. For some questions you are expected to express your opinion, thoughts or experience in your own words.
